The finals for the NEYPL Season will be open enrollment. Athletes do not need to have podiumed or participated in prior league competitions to compete in the finals.

Athletes may choose to participate in one, two, or all three disciplines when registering to compete. Regardless of discipline, all athletes should arrive at their age divisions’ check-in time to ensure they are present for their discipline’s start time.

For each age division, we will be running two rounds of Speed, Skill, and then Style, followed by a podium ceremony before the next age division starts!

Finals Format

Join us on Sunday, May 17th, at HUB Norfolk for our end of season cookout and jam!

We will have the BBQ going, and you’ll be able to train alongside your friends, fellow athletes, and coaches at HUB’s new gym in Norfolk! Kick back and celebrate an amazing season of competition and achievement with us!

For out of state families looking to book hotels for finals weekend, we recommend looking for hotels closer to Norfolk. Due to the proximity to Gillette Stadium, there are more accommodations near HUB Norfolk than HUB Sudbury.

See you at Finals Weekend!

Event types

Youth athletes can compete in any or all of the following competition types.

A person is performing a handstand on a stage while holding one leg in a gym or activity center with multiple people and a filmmaker recording in the background.
  • Skill events are all about precision and control. Athletes tackle specific challenges like landing perfectly on a small target or navigating tricky obstacles. It’s like solving a movement puzzle—great for kids who love focusing on technique and pushing their abilities.

  • Speed events are exactly what they sound like—a race through a parkour course! Athletes try to get through as quickly as possible, jumping, vaulting, and climbing in a test of both efficiency and athleticism. It’s fast-paced, exciting, and gets everyone cheering.

  • Style events let athletes unleash their creativity. They perform a parkour routine they’ve designed themselves, combining flips, spins, and smooth movements. It’s all about showing personality and flair while impressing the judges and audience.
